Nicole grew up in northern New Jersey, but attended high school in central Ohio. Before settling in Chicago, she spent a bunch of time in Boston & New Haven, CT. So although she currently resides in the Midwest, she remains an East Coast girl at heart. Nicole majored in English, minored in Classics, & has a Master's Degree in Art History (or as her mom likes to call it, "gainful employment." Zing!).
She's the current host of Ear Candy, which you can catch Friday mornings 9-noon on CHIRP Radio. Fun fact: Nicole owns THREE pairs of bamboo earrings.

Lily Be is a momma, a nanny, a friend, and a storyteller. She's a wise Mexican badass from Humboldt Park with a straight from the hip style of storytelling that has made her stand out in the storytelling community. She is the first Latina Moth GrandSLAM champion, WNEP Maelstrom champ, The Spotty Truth Late Night Storytelling champ, and host/producer of The Stoop the last Thursday of each month at Rosa's Lounge. There is really nothing a bio can tell you about Lily Be that her stories can't do better.

Whether he's playing DIY house shows or a sold out Beat Kitchen, Alex G has no problem with living in two different worlds at the same time. He talked with Dylan Peterson about how his guitar-based music is heavily influenced by electronic artists like Aphex Twin and The Knife, and told the story of how his sister turned a dream into the album cover for DSU.
